Interactive, imaginative play is vital to kids’ developing skills, and to the joy of childhood. Next to the attention and affection from their parents, the most important thing children need is well-conceived toys designed to foster skills at their specific age group, encourage imaginative play and, above all, to let them have fun. HABA creates toys that capture the imagination and foster that joy for generations to come.
Fostering skills…and joy!
Sustainability
HABA toys are made from organic material from sustainable resources, such as wood from sustainable silviculture and textiles, plastic and paperboard from renewable resources. All their wooden toys carry the PEFC seal. If colour is added to the wood, solvent-free water-based paints and stains are used so that the products remain safe and non-toxic.
Quality and design
A family owned company founded in 1938, HABA offers thoughtfully designed, innovative toys and games that are made with the highest craftmanship and materials available. Produced at their own HABA facilities in the Upper Francanian city of Bad Rodach, Germany. All HABA products go through a rigorous design process, where every item is researched and tested, with impeccably sourced materials and durable, lasting products.
Ethos
HABA’s company philosophy is based on one simple principle: Children are the most important things in life. HABA prides itself on the fact that children love playing with their toys while remaining blissfully unaware of how it fosters their own development in the process. A true “Inventor for Inquisitive Minds”, all HABA toys encourage discovery and exploration in one way or another, be it through touching, seeing, hearing, smelling, or tasting.
